The day has finally come for the Samsung Android tablet to hit the market. It has been in news since quite some time now that Samsung is building an Android tablet known by the name of Galaxy Tab. This tablet is finally going to be launched on 2nd September 2010. If rumors are to be believed Galaxy Tab will play first tough competitor to the Apple’s hailed tablet i.e. iPad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 7 inch long portable device as compared to the 9 inch iPad which is at times difficult to carry round. In addition, the Android operating system comes with its own string g of benefits and features some very cool applications in comparison to the iPad OS4.

In terms of open ecosystem, USB support, flash support, HD video, multitasking, free tethering and removable battery Samsung’s Android Galaxy Tab really remains one foot ahead of iPad. News also has it that Galaxy Tab featuring 8 and 10 inches screen are also in the making!
