Motorola Droid 2-Prospective Release On August 23
Motorola Droid 2 is going to hit the market soon if the reports are to be believed. According to the latest sources, Droid 2 might be released on August 23 2010 along with Froyo i.e. Android 2.2. This means that the other Droid phones can also expect an update of Froyo sooner than expected. Droid X will get the 2.2. update sometime later in August and so is the case with the original Droid phone.
Gingerbread man i.e. 2.2 Android OS is still not ready for a primetime launch. Motorola Droid 2 will thus be launched with the Froyo on August 23. This has given enough time to test the Droid 2 with the 2.2. update. So far, Droid 2 is being tested on 2.1 version. This will come as a relief to all the mobile users who have to do the update manually every time it becomes available.
