iPhone 4 Problems- Expected Issues to be faced by iPhone 4 Users

iPhone 4 which is touted as the new face of iPhones was recently unveiled in front of the whole world. It has clearly managed to scintillate the imagination of many iPhone users across the world. Offering new advanced features like FaceTime video calling, multitasking, improved battery life, high resolution retina display, iOS 4 operating system and much more this phone is surely here to stay. Or as claimed by the Apple CEO Stevie Jobs.

Speculations have been rife over the performance of iPhone 4 even before its launch date was announced. One would its each and every small detail being dissected by mobile users all over the net. Here’s a brief about some of the issues or iPhone 4 problems that might cause trouble in the proper functioning of this phone

MICRO SIM

The news that iPhone 4 supports MICRO SIM has managed to cause worries and uncertainties amongst prospective buyers of iPhone 4. The query regarding the possible transfer of your existing number into a MICRO SIM by telecom companies has so far not found a solid base. Vodaphone and 3 & Telstra however have given confirmation about the issuing of a new SIM with the same old number after the payment of certain fees.

But information about what kind of mobile deals and calling packages would be available under this new SIM has not been revealed yet. Also, chopping up your current SIM to fit into the MICRO SIM port of iPhone 4 has put many people in doubt about the status of their phone numbers in case they accidentally destroy their SIMs.

iOS 4

This operating system which is the same as iPad is world’s most advanced mobile operating system. Now with such fast speed, it is obvious people would make use of net more. This would mean signal usage being increased by 3-5x. Critics cited the example of AT& T, the biggest telecommunications and broadband company of U.S. whose network speed would pull down considerably.

WI-FI

Perhaps the most ironical incident of 2010 would be marked as one when Stevie Jobs was displaying the difference between the picture quality of iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS by downloading pictures. And the Wi-Fi connection went out stalling the download and malfunction of the phone in front of media persons.

It happened because iPhone is 802.11n and most of the networks present in the room were of same frequency. Too many connections thus hampered the signal transmission and led to loss of WI-FI for a brief period.

One must not forget that these are all speculations based on the news generated about the iPhone 4. The real test of this phone will take place on June 24 when it will release in countries like US, UK, Germany, France and Japan!
