The following are the few of the key features of the Motorola Droid update.
- Operating System stability has been improved.
- Battery life has been improved.
- Camera auto focus functionality is improved, and time between shots is reduced.
- There is a clock and alarm display on the locked screen
Troubleshooting the Droid Upgrade
Losing contact in the droid upgrade – A lot of Moto D users have experience this problem with the upgrade. Some have lost a few contacts, whereas some have ended up merging them with their facebook friends list.
What is suggested is that you go into your contacts and then open up the bottom menu and export your contacts to your SD card for backup.
Keyboard Backlight doesn’t work with system upgrade – If the keyboard backlight in the droid is not working with the upgrade what is suggested that you download the Keyword Backlight for Locale free. You will not get a new icon for this once downloaded. Then download “Backlight Off” for free. Once this is done your keyboard should be back to normal. If not, click on the Backlight Off icon and this should make it work.
