This is one of the first home theater receivers to feature XM satellite radio capabilities. The Onkyo TX SR803 comes with HDMI inputs. It also has one output that can be used for high quality switching of digital video and audio sources without any conversions.
The Onkyo TX SR803 also features DS A1 Remote Interactive iPod dock or charger. The benefit that customers can avail from this is that when the Onkyo TX SR803 is placed into the dock, it becomes a source component for both audio and video playbacks that are stored in the iPod photo units. In addition to this, the controllers in the iPod can be operated from the Onkyo TX SR803 receiver’s remote control.
The XM Satellite radio capabilities in the Onkyo TX SR803 allow customers to subscribe and receive over 150 channels of their choice. It also comes with a FM/AM radio with over 40 presets.
In addition to this, the Onkyo TX SR803 also features an automatic speaker setup that adjusts the sound volume according to its acoustical environment.
The Power Zone 2 feature in the Onkyo SR803 helps to process two AV sources simultaneously or send the same signals to the main room and the other rooms. This works by employing two of the receiver’s internal amplifiers to the power speakers situated in other rooms.
