Nokia, the world mobile phone company is now launching a smaller version of its highly successful mobile phone N 97. This new phone has been named N97 mini.
This new entrant into the smart phone market is expected to take the market in sweep. So confident is Nokia about the features of the N97 mini that they have advertised it as a smaller mobile computer!
The N97 mini has a 3.2-inch touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard built into its 1.42cm thin frame. The measures of the phone are 11.3(length) x 5.25(breadth) x 1.42(width) cm. If you compare the N97 with the N97 mini, the N97 sports a lager touch screen at 3.5-inch and a bigger frame for the QWERTY keyboard measuring 11.72 x 5.53 x 1.59 cm.
However, the N97 mini does not compromise on features such as the tilting display screen and also a home page which can be personalized and is fully customisable.
The N97 mini will feature Lifecasting with Ovi which enables the phone users to change their Facebook status from their phone directly. This makes in the first Nokia phone to come with this feature. For the N97 owners Lifecasting with Ovi will be available via Nokia Beta Labs.
The Nokia N97 mini user have the functionality to add widgets, new application, ringtones or any other content to their phone via the Ovi Store supported by the phone. The phone also features an integrated A-GPS and compass in addition to a voice navigation system which can be used for finding directions. This functionality is provided by Ovi maps.
The Nokia N97 mini has an on board storage capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded to 24GB by adding a 16GB microSD card.
Nokia Mini n97
The Nokia Mini N97 comes with an awesome 5 megapixel camera which has dual LED flash and video light. The camera has a 4 digital zoom and packs Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. This is very similar to the camera of the N97 bigger version.
N97 Mini’s battery is impressive and supports a standby time of up to 12 days. The phone also supports a 28 hr music playback and a 210 mins video playback.
