The Bose Wave System is an acoustic wave music system that was the first product of the wave series, which was introduced in the year 1984.This Wave System comprised of two inch speakers and a four inch bass speaker that used the wave guide, cassette player and an AM/FM radio.

Then, a smaller BOSE Wave System called the Wave Radio was introduced in 1993, which comprised of a two inch speaker without the woofer.

In the year 1998, was launched the new Bose Wave System called the Wave Radio/CD which was later in 2004, renamed as –THE BOSE WAVE MUSIC SYSTEM after, being redesigned by using new high performance transducers, headphones jack, Bose Link Compatibility and MP3 Playback. This acoustic wave music system became a legend due to its improved sound quality, sound imaging and clarity.

In 2005, A CD/MP3 player was removed from the system and was named the Wave Radio II. Then, a year later, another variant of the Bose Wave System was introduced, the new Acoustic Wave Music System II, with the addition of MP3 Playback, a bigger screen, improved acoustics and a headphone output.

The Different models of acoustic wave music systems are recommended for usage in different locations. Like, for enjoying music in your kitchens and bedrooms, Bose Wave System is ideal. In Larger rooms and outdoors, use Acoustic Wave Music System II. And, The Wave Radio II is ideal for radio listening.
